This year, we are pleased to announce the following Agenda:

  • It Comes from the Mud!  Nutrients, Internal Loading, Internal Waves, and Infernal Honeoye HABs

 Nelson G. Hairston, Jr. is Professor and Chair of the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Cornell University.  He has taught limnology university students for the past 41 years.  His research focuses on how organisms living in lakes respond ecologically and evolutionarily to changes their aquatic environment. Dr Hairston also is leading the 3 year research effort being conducted on Honeoye Lake.

 

  • Governor’s Honeoye Lake HABs Action Plan Update

Megan Webster, Manager Ontario County Soil & Water Conservation District

 

  • Betsy Landre of Ontario County will give an update on the 2018 Aquatic Vegetation program.
