Join Nicholas Dietschler, Research Technician and

graduate student with the NYS Hemlock Initiative at

Cornell University, for a presentation on pests that

are threatening New York State forests. Learn how

non-native invasive forest pests interact with our

native tree species and what we can do to slow the

impacts and conserve our trees for the future.

Emphasis will be placed on hemlock woolly adelgid

and its threat to hemlock ecosystems. See what the

NYS Hemlock Initiative and collaborators are doing

to combat HWA and what the future of hemlock
